Install the CCTV edge gateway daemon on your local gateway hardware (Intel N100, Raspberry Pi 4+, or Linux x86_64) to connect live RTSP cameras with offline queue protection.
Phase 2 Notice
The edge gateway daemon is currently in development. The install script and Docker image will be available once Phase 2 is complete. For now, you can test with the upload pipeline or direct RTSP ingestion on the dashboard.

Hardware Requirements
- Intel N100, ARM64 (Raspberry Pi 4+), or any Linux x86_64
- 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended)
- Docker installed
- Network access to your RTSP cameras
- Internet access for cloud sync (offline queue included)

3-Step Gateway Setup
Quick Install
Run this one-liner on your gateway hardware. The installer downloads the Docker image, sets up a systemd service, and launches the config wizard:
curl -fsSL https://shomoy.io/cctv-edge/install.sh | bashConfiguration Wizard
After installation, run the config wizard to register your device and add cameras:
edge-daemon config
# You'll be prompted for:
# 1. Your Shomoy account email
# 2. A device name (e.g. "Home Gateway")
# 3. Camera name + RTSP URL (repeat for each camera)
# 4. Privacy mode (default: enabled)Start the Daemon
Enable and monitor the background systemd service on your Linux gateway:
# Start as a systemd service (auto-starts on boot)
sudo systemctl start edge-daemon
# Check status
sudo systemctl status edge-daemon
# View logs
journalctl -u edge-daemon -f
